Fearless feet? Fearless feat! This is the shortest, hottest, sharpest, scariest walk of the year!
RCHT Charity Community Fundraiser Lynne Lees said ‘this is our first ever event of this kind and we’re really excited to watch everyone grimace and bear it! We’re extremely grateful to our friends at BAM for generously sponsoring our fire, Lego and glass walk and can’t wait to watch the walkers brave one, or all three, of these fantastic challenges’.
This adrenalin fuelled event will test your nerve and push your boundaries. Are you brave enough to take that first step and conquer your fear?
- When: Saturday 21st May from midday.
- Where: Right in the centre of Truro at High Cross with the iconic Cathedral as a stunning backdrop.
- How: Pre-event online registration is essential. Places are strictly limited so don’t dilly dally, email rcht.charity@nhs.net for an information pack but remember – there will be no on-the-day registrations.
The Fire Walk is HOT HOT HOT! You’ll be in the safe hands of Europe’s leading Fire Walk instructor Scott Bell who will take you through an intense coaching workshop before you make your way across the coals, with temperatures up to a scorching 1200°F. But can you take the heat? Incidentally Scott says ‘fire is easy compared to the Lego walk’!

Together we can do more for our hospitals and patients.
Patients are diagnosed and treated faster, families and loved ones are more comfortable, and staff travel out of county for specialised training – all through generous support given to Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity.
Your support moves care at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro, West Cornwall Hospital, Penzance & St Michael’s Hospital, Hayle), beyond the basic provision of the NHS.
