Change to Tower Block entrance as building works get underway

We’ve started work at the Royal Cornwall Hospital to make way for a modular ward building in the area in front of the Tower Block and Princess Alexandra Wing at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.

We’ve started work at the Royal Cornwall Hospital to make way for a modular ward building in the area in front of the Tower Block and Princess Alexandra Wing at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.

During construction works the Tower Block entrance will be closed. We’re asking patients coming for appointments (including the renal unit) to come into the building via the main Trelawny or Link Corridor entrances. If you have mobility difficulties, please use the door next to the Eye Unit entrance at the rear of the Tower Block (see map below).

There is no access to the Tower Block or renal unit via the Princess Alexandra Wing (maternity) entrance.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but as part of our exciting building programme, this will be bringing more and better facilities in which we can care for you. We’ll be sharing more detail on all of the building projects very soon.
