I trained in medicine in Cambridge and London and then after junior jobs in London trained in cardiology at the Brompton Hospital and St Georges Hospital.
I became a consultant in Truro in 1996 and was involved in helping to develop arrhythmia services here and also the commissioning of the two catheter labs were much of the treatment of our patients takes place. I led the department from 2000-2008 and now serve as the secretary of the British Heart Rhythm Society.
I am married with 4 children who are now almost all through University.
Leisure time is centred around cycling on the roads around mid-Cornwall and when the weather is good commuting from Devoran
