Ashish Patwardhan

He specialises in the treatment of retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion. He also specialises in phacoemulsification cataract surgery and runs ocular inflammatory service. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

He also holds memberships of American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), UK and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (UKISCRS) and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS). Mr Patwardhan’s interest in research is mainly focused on newer therapies for retinal diseases.
