ENT surgery – General ENT with an interest in Otology. I completed my basic medical training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (qualifying in 1989) and went on to basic surgical training in Bristol, Cardiff and London.
I undertook Higher Surgical Training in ENT Surgery (Otolaryngology) in North London working in both district general and teaching hospitals, including The Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
I was awarded a TWJ Fellowship in 2000 to undertake a period of research at the University of California, San Francisco; during this period I researched Cochlear Implant designs.
I have worked at Royal Cornwall Hospital since my appointment in 2001.
