ENT surgery – General ENT with an interest in Otology and Paediatrics. I completed my basic medical training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (qualifying in 1989) and went on to basic surgical training in Bristol, Cardiff and London.
I undertook Higher Surgical Training in ENT Surgery (Otolaryngology) in North London working in both district general and teaching hospitals, including The Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
I was awarded a TWJ Fellowship in 2000 to undertake a period of research at the University of California, San Francisco; during this period I researched Cochlear Implant designs. I moved to my current post at Royal Cornwall Hospital in 2001.
I am a general ENT Surgeon with the following special areas of interest:
Otology (hearing loss, vertigo, middle ear surgery)
My current research interest, in conjunction with researchers at The University of Exeter Medical School is the epidemiology of Meniere’s Disease.
