I trained in medicine in Cambridge and London and then after junior jobs in London trained in cardiology at the Brompton Hospital and St Georges Hospital.
Miss Jane Borley is a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist who joined Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust in 2019. She qualified in Medicine from Imperial College London in 2004 and completed general Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in North West London. She gained a PhD from Imperial College London in 2014, focussing on the discovery and evaluation of treatment stratification biomarkers in ovarian cancer. She completed Gynaecological Oncology subspecialty training at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital in 2017 and was a Consultant and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London before moving to Cornwall.
Miss Borley has a keen interest in all aspects of gynaecology cancer care including diagnosis, surgical treatment and fertility-sparing management and works in collaboration with all members of the gynaecology cancer team. She actively participates in research and has published numerous peer reviewed articles and book chapters and is currently principal investigator for several studies.
