Oliver Leach graduated with distinction from the University of Edinburgh. His general medical training was in Edinburgh and the Severn Deanery, following which he undertook a neuroscience DPhil into the genetics and neuroimmunology of multiple sclerosis. His specialist training was in the South West, during which time he fell in love with Cornwall. He has wide ranging interests in neurology including neurogenetics, neuroimmunology and neuromuscular disease, as well as an active role in research including observational studies and clinical trials.
