ARIA (Haematology/Oncology)

System Description:

System used to prescribe/administer and schedule chemotherapy treatment cycles for patients.

Mainly used by RCHT Staff, but also CPFT Staff at Truro Health Park, who can administer treatment at this additional location, on behalf of RCHT.

BloodHound (Blood Transfusion)

System Description:

Blood collection fridges are found in key areas on RCHT sites. Anyone who needs to collect bloods should contact the Transfusion team to obtain an account to use the kiosks.

Bluespier (Trauma and Orthopaedics)

System Description:

A system used by the Trauma and Orthopaedics teams for managing their patients who are scheduled for operations. Covers theatre lists and whiteboards, events and procedures, correspondence, and reporting.

Capture Stroke (Stroke)

System Description:

A management and reporting system used to record Stroke patients admitted to the Cornwall NHS Trusts.

System Description:

System Description:

System used to record patients admitted to the Critical Care Unit.

e-Obs (Inpatients)

System Description:

System used to record, manage and monitor patient observations electronically, when they are admitted as an Inpatient on a ward. Staff receive alerts when patients observation scores fall out of safe ranges.

Eyeroute (Ophthalmology)

System Description:

Eyeroute or Synergy is an image viewing platform for the Ophthalmology department.

System Description:

Used within the Theatres at RCHT, WCH and SMH to record and manage patients booked into the theatres for surgery.

InSight (Clinical Imaging)

System Description:

System Description:

System used by the Infection Control Department.

Pharmacy system used to manage the administration and prescribing of medication to patients.

Maxims (Patient Management System)

System Description:

Maxims is a fully integrated Electronic Patient Record, offering a user friendly interface for the Patient Administration System (PAS).

It serves as a repository of inpatient/outpatient data, demographics, correspondence, pathology and radiology results; whilst also providing an interface to the Electronic Prescribing and Emergency Department systems.

System Description:

Ophthalmology system used for recording patient appointments and correspondence.

System Description:

System used by the Emergency Departments (WCH, RCHT), Urgent Care Centres, and Minor Injuries Units throughout Cornwall. Includes whiteboards/tracking lists, patient booking/management, and advice sheets.

System Description:

System used to record endoscopy procedures carried out for patients, and attached images where applicable.

Swiftplus (Inpatients)

System Description:

Interactive touch screen boards found on wards around the RCHT sites. These are used to move patients real time, completing transfers, admissions and discharges. The ward views have a range of useful symbols to see at a quick glance, including relevant patient care instructions. Please ensure you have had a look at the e-learning if you are not attending PAS training.

Ward Enquiry (Pathology)

System Description:

Read only portal system used to view pathology test results for patients. It is Essential to have access to this system in the event that Maxims is unavailable.
