What is the document library?
This is a county-wide resource available over the Intranet or the Internet. It acts as a ‘memory’ for the healthcare community in Cornwall by storing all relevant local documents and creating a one-stop shop for easy retrieval.
Who is the document library for?
The document library is for all members of staff working for any of the NHS trusts in Cornwall. These documents are also available on the internet and can be viewed by members of the public.
Why can’t I find the document I want?
- There may be several reasons why you are unable to find the document you are looking for.
- You may be mistyping the search term. – NB this sentence appears as a menu heading
- Looking in the wrong place i.e. wrong organisation, target audience, document type, etc.
- The document may not exist.
- The document may have expired and is being reviewed.
Who do I ask if I need help accessing a document?
You can phone Cornwall IT Services, Service Desk on 01209 88 1717 with any queries and the support desk will refer your call to the appropriate team.
Who is responsible for the document library?
The document library is managed by Cornwall IT Services. The documents in the document library are the responsibility of, and owned by each trust.
I used to be able to get a particular document on the library but it isn’t there any more. Can I still access it some other way?
If the document is no longer available on the document library then it may have expired or have been withdrawn or replaced. Expired or withdrawn documents are no longer available unless by special permission. Contact Cornwall IT Services, Service Desk on 01209 88 1717 with any queries.
