We’re continuing to see cases of flu affecting some wards at the Royal Cornwall Hospital and are asking for the support of visitors in helping to stop to spread of the virus.
In the same way as we do when there are cases of Norovirus, we would ask visitors not to visit patients on an affected ward unless it’s essential. Whilst we would never turn anyone away, flu can be serious and visitors could put themselves at risk or unknowingly spread the flu virus to vulnerable people including loved ones or friends.
