70 day challenge – launching a 70 day fundraiser where 8 teams from within and outside the hospital have been given £70 to use their entrepreneurial skills to reinvest and raise the most money. Sponsored by Worldwide Financial Planning. All eight teams have selected a fund to support from within the charity, which provides funding for additional equipment, facilities and training in areas across the Trust.
We’ll be taking part in this national event, serving afternoon tea on the wards. Staff tea parties will also be hosted in Ingredients (3-5pm, including a performance by the RCH Choir at 4pm), with events at West Cornwall Hospital (11am – 2pm) and St Michael’s, too. We’ve had amazing support from local businesses donating cakes and pasties!
Teams are welcome to hold their own ward/departmental tea parties and, if you’d like to, use them to raise funds for your area’s RCHT Charity fund or the general fund.
Will be out and about. At RCH they will have a gazebo near Post Grad. Drop by for cakes (10am-4pm) and they’ll be at WCH reception from 11am-2.30pm. Join them outside Tower Entrance at 12:30 pm for an NHS Birthday photo.
