In our hearts: annual baby remembrance service

The annual Baby Remembrance Service for the Royal Cornwall Hospital and supporting charities is to be held on Sunday 13th October 2019 at 2pm Truro Catholic Church, St Austell Street, Truro TR1 1SE.
The event which is organised by the Hospital Chaplains and the Bereavement Specialist Midwife Team takes place during the national Baby Loss Awareness week*. It’s an opportunity for parents, families and friends to meet together with others for mutual support and remember the precious babies who are no longer with us.

The uplifting programme includes poems, readings and musical items which will bring hope and comfort, including the Royal Cornwall Hospital Choir who will sing. This service is suitable for children, and they are really welcome and will be included in the service.

During the service candles will be lit, and an act of remembrance takes place around the Memory Tree.

The service will be approximately 50 minutes in duration, and representatives from support groups that offer help and resources will be available. Refreshments will be served.
