Following last week’s celebration of Nurses Day, several teams from across Medicine have been awarded by peers for their amazing efforts in promoting and celebrating the event within wards and departments and also across social media.
The Cove Macmillan Support Centre based in Truro is celebrating being awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM) in recognition of the centre’s excellent standards of care for local people affected by cancer. The award was presented yesterday by Ed Murphy, Macmillan Strategic Partnership Manager to Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust’s Chief Executive, Kathy Byrne and The Cove’s team of staff and volunteers.
Already recognised in cardiology circles as the number one team to train with in the country, RCHT’s cardiac team was delighted to learn they are finalists in the Health Education England, Star Awards.
