Around 60 Band 5 nurses attended the action packed day, which offered a full agenda of inspirational speakers; lots of fun and the opportunity to network, share experience and learn about innovative projects throughout the Trust.

We are asking our local community to only use the Emergency Department in a genuine emergency to avoid overcrowding. We have a wide range of services that can support people in the community including pharmacies, GPs, Minor Injury Units, the Urgent Care Centre in Penzance which is open 24/7 and you can always call NHS 111 for help and advice.

Endometriosis is the name given to the condition where cells like the ones in the lining of the uterus are found elsewhere in the body. It is a chronic and debilitating condition that causes painful or heavy periods. It may also lead to infertility, fatigue and bowel and bladder problems.
