Out now! Dietitian Approved charity recipe book

RCHT dietitian Rachael Brandreth is among a group of experts from around the country who have contributed to a fundraising recipe book which has been launched as part of Dietitians Week – 3-7 June.
The publication is a downloadable e-book with 25 recipes created by a group of dietitians with a wide range of expertise and a common love of food! Rachael has contributed with her ‘cheat’s moussaka’. Rachael is a paediatric dietitian and Professional Lead for Dietetics across Cornwall.

Since dietitians are all about practical nutrition, their book comprises a simple, family friendly collection of healthy recipes. People who buy a copy will be helping to support a family in need, whilst feeding their own, as 100% of the cost of the book will go to the Trussell Trust. The Trust aims to end hunger and food poverty within the UK through their food banks and emergency food and support for families in need. https://www.trusselltrust.org/

All the recipes are genuine “go to” meals that all the Dietitians prepare at home with their families. Examples include easy peasy paella, salmon and chive fish cakes, chicken and tomato pizza and baked chicken casserole. The authors believe that meal times should be enjoyed with family and friends.

Dietitians Week is the British Dietetic Association’s annual celebration of dietitians, dietetics and those that work to support them.

Launch date of the Dietitian Approved e-book is Tuesday 4th June 2019 and it can be downloaded through SendOwl for £3.99 (all proceeds going to the Trussell Trust).
