The route begins by venturing in Devon for day one of 69 miles cycling to beautiful Bude.
Day two dawns bright and early with a swoop up and then down to Newquay of 68 miles (taking in delightful Padstow for lunch on the way).
Our final day sees the culmination of our endeavours as we glide 60 miles gloriously through stunning west Cornwall to our ultimate goal, Land’s End and a heroes welcome!
But don’t let its beauty fool you – with long hours in the saddle and the challenge of some punishing hills, reaching the finish line will give you a real sense of achievement. Are you ready for an adventure?
For the third year running the registered charity for St Michael’s Hospital, West Cornwall Hospital and Royal Cornwall Hospital is leading this bespoke event which proved such a success in 2021 and 2022 that riders are already eagerly signing up for September 2023 –
Pedal4Patients 2021 and 2022 cyclist Tom Stiles said ‘cycling 200 miles over 3 days for RCHT Charity is just a great experience – lots of ups and downs across an amazing landscape with what turned out again to be a great group of fundraisers’.
Another Pedal4Patients rider, Brendon James, said ‘the ride itself was really challenging, but I felt safe and looked after every step of the way thanks to top-notch first response and mechanical support, as well as food and water stops and support riders who rode with us. The group were all extremely friendly, and helped each other every step of the way. I would highly recommend Pedal 4 Patients to anyone!’.
