The charity team want to create light and joy for the staff, patients and visitors by making Royal Cornwall Hospital’s Tower Block gleam with a starlight projection this December with the help of their Christmas Star Appeal.
Supporters are asked to sponsor a projected Christmas star as they illuminate the hospital with a range of shimmering stars and twinkles of various sizes and the chance to add a special name tag available.
“Maybe in memory of those you have lost, so their star shines across for all to see. Or the gift of a star to a loved one? Maybe as thanks for our NHS heroes, or if you’re a local business? Whatever the reason, with your help, Cornwall’s only acute hospital will be brightly beaming with festive stars from dusk every evening from mid December until New Year’s Day,” said Lynne Lees, Community Fundraiser for RCHT Charity.
