The team were nominated by Senior Recruitment Officer Sheryll Lock, who praised her colleagues’ consistent demonstration of the core-Trust values: Care & Compassion, Trust & respect, Pride & Achievement, Working Together.
“I wanted to nominate my colleagues in the Recruitment Services Team as their continual support has not only improved my own working life but provides an example of the care and support that they give to everyone, both within the team and across the Trust as a whole.”
“The team frequently inspire and assist colleagues that are struggling”, continues Sheryll. “They’re understanding and compassionate; always helping others and making time for people, even when they have their own busy workload to contend with. Colleagues undergoing difficult times can go and talk to anyone in the team, knowing they will be listened to, sympathetically. I’m so proud to work with such an amazing group of people.”
HR Director, Catrin Asbrey and Improving Working Lives (IWL) Co-ordinator, Joani Miller made a surprise visit to meet the recipients. The monthly Thank You awards are a regular staple of IWL activities, providing an opportunity for members of staff to nominate a colleague or team that has consistently demonstrated an exemplary degree of care and support.
