Return to practice success brings new dieticians to the team

Dietitians in Cornwall are taking a proactive approach to recruiting new members to their team by encouraging former professionals back into rewarding careers in the NHS.

Following their most recent success the team is delighted to be congratulating Anna Wright on her successful return to practice as a Paediatric Dietitian.

Professional Lead for Dietetics in Cornwall, Rachael Brandreth said,

“After lots of hard work from Anna and support from our dietitians, Anna now has her Health and Care Professions Council registration and a job working in our team here in Cornwall.

“Supporting dietitians who want to practice has significant benefits to our service users and the department as we are able to benefit from the skills and knowledge of their previous careers. Anna will be covering a maternity leave and so can now get going right away.”

Anna is the team’s second success story with return to practice. They have previously supported Carol Matta and are currently supporting Sue Rice (also pictured).

If you are, or know, a dietitian living in Cornwall and would like to reregister and hopefully work with our forward-thinking, caring and dynamic team of dietitians, please get in touch with Rachael Brandreth (Rachael.brandreth@nhs.net Twitter @RachBrandreth) or Pat Redfern, Professional Leads for Dietetics in Cornwall.
