Recent fundraising has helped us transform one of our research clinic rooms into a child-friendly environment where children can play, read books, play computer games or watch films. These facilities act as a distraction for our younger visitors during their clinic visits as well as provide play facilities for them when accompanying others to their appointments.

A group of local volunteers run a charity shop in the Code Institute in Marazion. A large percentage of money raised by the shop went to funding a cancer research position and equipment to benefit cancer research patients at the trust through our charity. There are many bargains to be had and the shop is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm. Find more information on the Marazion Cancer Shop Facebook page.
‘Second Chance’ has been opened in the Long Rock village Post Office by a team of three volunteers to raise funds for The Cancer Research Fund for Cornwall part of The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity.
The shop sells good quality preloved clothes, books and bric-a-brac and is open from 10 – 12 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For more information (link to Facebook page)
