The physiotherapy service provides therapy and treatment for both inpatients and outpatients at Royal Cornwall Hospitals. Our services include respiratory care, general rehabilitation, exercise therapy, hydrotherapy and general advice and education.
In the hospitals, our physiotherapists work alongside consultants from all of the different medical specialities to provide rehabilitation for a large variety of inpatients.
Our outpatient physiotherapy service treats patients who have been referred by their GP or by their consultant for rehabilitation, treatment or support after they have left hospital.
We also run a specialist paediatric physiotherapy service for both outpatients and inpatients at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

All qualified therapy and dietetic staff are required to be registered members of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) who are responsible for regulating us. You can find out more about registration on the HCPC website.
