The Annual Baby Remembrance service for Royal Cornwall Hospital will take a different format this year.

Due to the Covid 19 crisis staff at the hospital are preparing a comforting and uplifting service which will be available online at 2pm on Sunday 11th October 2020.
Always a well attended and highly regarded event, the specialist team at RCH are hoping that this year even more families can benefit from the online service, which can be watched at home.

Sarah, one of the Chaplains said ‘We are delighted to be able to provide the same level of support to families this year in a digital way. We suggest lighting a candle at home during the act of remembrance, and although we cannot be together face to face, we are still absolutely united in our support for each other.’

The event is part of national Baby Loss week which takes place from 9th – 15th October, and will include poems, music and other items which will resonate with all who are watching.

Further details of the link required will be issued in due course – but for further information please contact: rcht.bereavementmidwives@nhs.net or the Chaplains rcht.chaplains@nhs.net
