The Cardiac Investigation Unit has 19 beds and looks after patients with acute and chronic cardiology conditions.
The ward team works closely with the cardiology consultants and specialist nurses within the Trust and the wider community, including GPs, Community Cardiac Nurses, tele-health and acute care at home.
We also hold a monthly patient forum where patients can meet specialist nurses and previous patients, to help them better understand their conditions and continue on the road to recovery.
