Newlyn Unit

This page was last updated: September 2nd, 2022

The Newlyn Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital is a specialist day surgery unit.
We primarily look after patients who need surgery on their head and neck, but we also see other patients who are coming in for day surgery. Our patients come to us on the day of their surgery. We help them get prepared for surgery and carry out any assessments before their operation and then monitor them after surgery before they are ready to go home.

Important Visiting RestrictionsDue to the Covid pandemic, restrictions have been made to the usual visiting times and rules listed below. Please view our Covid Visiting restrictions.
